.Mac Problem

I am having trouble syncing my laptop to my .Mac account. I have tried restting my account and have made sure I have every posible OS X upgrade. I am getting the following error:

Invalid response received from .Mac. Could not complete synchronization -​
please try again later​

Is this a problem on my end on or on apples end.

I forgot to mention that when I set the iSync on my old account to replace the data on my .Mac account, everything works fine most of the time. The problem only happens when I try to merge or replace the data on my new account. It seems I the put the info, I just can't get it.

Hi Tim and welcome !

The first thing that I would suggest is to remove the .mac preference file from your Mac and restart then try again...

remove the file com.apple.DotMacSync.plist

You can find it here /Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/com.apple.DotMacSync.plist

...then try Syncing the new account first !

If it works it may be a problem from you having two dot mac accounts, (I haven't got one, let alone two ! So can't simulate the problem your having ;-) )

I now have .mac account !

Purely for playing with iLife 06...

Did you fix this ?
