SOLVED MAC OS Updates

We have 3 iMACS in the household - all running OS Lion ( V 10.7.5).
Is there any way to upgrade to later versions as all our internet aces accounts - government/ energy providers/streaming services, are no longer supporting any browser version we can update to- because of the security firewalls etc. So unable to upgrade Firefox/Safari/Chrome to later versions.
Happy to upgrade OS and purchase - but not happy to be forced to but 3 x new I-MACS to keep access to basic sites and managing finances etc

Which model/year are your iMacs?

2 x iMAC 2012 27” with OS Lion
1 x iMAC 2009 20” with OS El Capitan ( this one has more functionality and works better with apps - I assume it’s he’s user of OSX V 10.12.6?)

The 2009 20" iMac is maxed out at El Capitan, the 2012 27" iMacs can be updated to OS X 10.15 Catalina.
