Hi,
I've encountered a problem with the colours on my monitor suddenly going pear shaped - it's as if the brightness and contrast have been increased to silly levels all of a sudden. I'm using a MacPro desktop, and LG monitor. It's not a monitor issue, it's a software issue - I know since the boot up and login screen is fine, as soon as I log in to my main account (admin) the colours change. If I log out and into my other account, all is fine, the colours appear fine. It's only in the one account there's an issue.
I've checked the monitor calibration settings and they're the same in both accounts. I don't know why this has suddenly happened. Iv've used Macs for nearly 20 years and this has completely stumped me! It's probably something really simple too. For what its worth, the brightness keys (F1/F2) do nothing on my Apple keyboard.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Neil.
