Mac mini screen turns purple, pink and green

when I leave my Mac mini on the mail page when I come back in a few hrs. the screen has turned all ugly purple , pink and green . I have to do a restart
to get it back to normal. Have to do this at least 4-5 times a day . Why does it turn all colors when left on the mail page or even if I put it to 'sleep' will
still turn psychedelic .

Hi,

Sounds like it could be the monitor cable or it is losing sync with the monitor.

• Which exact Mac mini?
• Which version of OS X/macOS?
• How is the monitor connected - VGA/HDMI/etc.?
• What brand/model is the monitor?
