Mac mid 2010 screen problem

Hello,

I have an iMac mid-2010 (model A1312) and have been experiencing issues with the LCD inverter. Once again, the screen went black, but using a flashlight, I could faintly see the text on the screen.

I ordered and installed a new LCD inverter, but now the screen flickers and occasionally turns black for a few seconds. Could the problem be with the LCD cable this time?

Usually best to replace the cable at the same time.
