Mac Mail

iMac late 2015 running OS Monterey. My Mac Mail is loading extremely slow. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes for all the emails to be visible. They are visible in the inbox but I cannot read the contents. I have tried rebuilding each box with no success. Any ideas?

• How many emails in the inbox(es)?

I have 2 email accounts. There are normally 8 or 9 emails in the inbox and 6 to 10 in the junk folder.
