Mac Mail Back-up

I've used Outlook for years but now because of budget concerns had to get the trimmed down Office so I am using Mail with my new MacBookPro notebook. Where, do I find the mail folders I've created to back them up? I backup to IDrive every night. Can you tell I'm an old user...70...and even had to put the HD on my desktop to feel at home!

Finder Go menu > Library (hold down option if on Lion)
Mail
and Mail Downloads
