Mac locked by MS Onenote

I'm having Mac issues with MS One Note not shutting down... any pointers pls
I've tried force quit

If Force Quit doesn't work & sometimes you have to click it more than once, then you could try Activity Monitor, choose "All Processes, Hierarchically" then look for MS One Note …. or just Log Out or shut down your Mac.

thank you so very much Spawn_Dooley ..... Activity Monitor option worked great... I was unaware that process existed, now I have another tool in my kit..
