Hi there!
I'm trying to use my 2017 Mac Desktop (running macOS Sierra) as a display screen for editing. I'm connecting it up to my MacBook Pro 2019 (running MacOS Catalina) and have been using a usb-C cable. I want to run the software off my MacBook Pro using the Desktop as a display only. Neither computer is registering anything in the Display section of System Preferences, although my MacBook Pro does start charging when the cable is inserted.
I have tried pressing Cmd + f2 on the desktop, but that has done nothing.
Is it possible to do this with a USB-C cable? What will make this work?
Thank you for your help!
Winnie
