Mac Bluetooth and Speaker!!

Hi,

I'm having problems with my bluetooth speaker...

the mac is connected via bluetooth to the speaker and the sound preferences for output are selected correctly

the speaker works via bluetooth with my iPhone

the mac works with its own internal speakers

I just cannot for the life of me get the mac and the speaker playing music... It worked fine up until a week or so ago..i have searched for all the answers and only get the sound preference one...which is done correctly.

PLEASE HELP!

Hello and welcome.

-Which exact model Mac?
-Which version of OS X?
-Which brand/model is the Bluetooth speaker?
-Have you tried deleting the speaker in the Bluetooth preference pane and re-adding it?
