I have a 2020 M1 Mac mini, 16 GBs of RAM, 500GB storage (82 GB free) running on macOS Sonoma 14.5.
What happens is:
-randomly (no interval nor after an action, sometimes happens more often, sometimes they don't at all) all input devices freeze (meaning
-mouse
-keyboard
-joysticks
-microphones
-but with the microphones: my friends report that if this happens, they hear me repeating the words where the lag began (like if it starts with me saying "Watch out, be ready" they will hear "watch ou-" "watch ou-" "watch ou-" until the lag ends)
-with some applications, I need to re-set my microphone (de-select and select) for it to start working again, which is really annoying (Teamspeak, xPilot if someone ever heard of it, discords a.e. keeps working)
-videos, games or apps in general work normal; no performance issues, no freeze, they just keep running normal
-one freeze maybe takes about 5-7 seconds...
-I do have 1 USB-A port attached directly with a cable, one USB-A port with an USB Hub and one USB-C port attached to a USB Hub, ALL devices are frozen(or non-existent)
-This is input ONLY (no issues with power supply or ethernet cable), display, headset works as normal, and like I said programs keep running.
Anybody have the same issue or even an idea how to fix it?
Thanks y'all, have a wonderful week, I'll be happy with any response, greetings from Germany!
