M1 iMac goes black until I hit power button

This has happened 3 times now. I walk to my M1 iMac and touch the mouse or keyboard and it goes black. I hit keys and mouse and plug in my keyboard but nothing happens until I hold the power button down for a second. Now the display opens and I see what I was working on before.

Is this a known issue?

Not an issue I have heard of. What happens if you keep the keyboard plugged in all the time for troubleshooting?

I'll try that. But the problem happened 3 times in a month, and I didn't notice any pattern.
