Lost my Internal Mic

Was recording through a mixer and USB cord to my iMac for a track in Garage Band. Had to do a Zoom meeting with a doctor. As they walked me through installation and set up to get audio in Zoom they had me hit buttons. Now there is no Internal Mic. How do I get it back?

Hello and welcome.

-Which model Mac?
-Which version of OS X/macOS?

I would first restart, then check  > System Preferences... > Sound > Input and see if it returns to normal.
