I can print, no problem. I can display the printer's status page via a web browser. Scanning is the only function where my iMac and the Canon cannot communicate with each other.
I've jumped thru all the hoops:
Spoke with Canon Support--they insisted it's either a) "not a good enough connection between the scanner and computer" or b) Software related... She said because I can print, display the printer's page via my browser...that it must be Mac (or ISP)-related.
Are there (security or other?) settings in Sequoia that might affect communication?
I've jumped thru all the hoops:
- Updated drivers to latest Sequoia-ready versions
- Manually deleted all drivers and reinstalled latest drivers
- Deleted and re-created printer/scanner (multiple times)
- Rebooted printer/scanner, router, and iMac
- Tried Wi-Fi & USB connection
- Etc
