Logic pro x move

Firstly I have a 2010 MacBook pro with logic pro x preinstalled on. That's how it was bought.

Now it's going down the pan...graphic card is failing.

So....how do I move the entire contents to another device? Is it just a simple restore from backup?

Using migration assistant, you can restore from a time machine backup or from a startup disk.
