Dear all,
Few days ago, I forgot my Apple ID password and my Mac password.
1. I tried to reset the Mac password with tips found on the Internet, including using Terminal and the command /sbin/mount -uaw (without understanding what this command means). It didnt work.
And I noticed that the disk Macintosh HD is not mounted any more
2. Finally, few days later, I managed to recover my Apple ID password. So I use It to unlock the Mac. It doesnt work either. Indeed after I log in my apple id information, the system tells me that I am able to log into my Mac using my Apple ID password. I tried to log into with the password : the Mac validates the password when I input; however instead of bringing me to the home page, he shows me again the log in page, asking this time for the previous password (the one I don't remember).
Could someone help me to figure out what is happening ?
Thank you in advance
