Hi All,

I am using the traditional white Macbook (currently out of sale) loaded with MAC OS 10.5.5, 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory 2.4 Ghz 667 Mhz DDR2 SD RAM. I bought this faithful beauty in Sep 2007 and its still running strong.
I want to load up Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe applications and also sync my iPhone 5 but it won't let me upgrade the OS.

Is there a way-around to upgrade the current OS to a more suitable version.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I know some running ML on Mid 2007 White MacBooks and it works fine with 2 Gigs of memory. But you need to go from SL as a starting point, think the disks are around about $30.00 but not sure.

If its the MacBook 13" Mid 2010 - MacBook7,1
It should go to 10.8 (ML)

As oldscribe said you will need to go to Snow Lep before MoLo.

While it may run "ok" with 2Gig, it runs far better with 4Gig.
