Hi guys.

Id really appreciate some help with an issue im facing on a Mac Mini. I couldnt get the Mac to boot from the hard drive or the DVD drive would just come up with a symbol like no entry symbol in the middle of the screen, so i took out the HDD and put it in a caddy, into my macbook and reinstalled lion. I've put it back into the Mac Mini and its still not booting from it, i try to go into Single user, or safe mode and it goes to a black screen, with the error message something like this.

EFIBoot,

This version of Max OSX is not supported. (Paraphrasing)

iv tried resetting the NVRAM, PRAM, tried force booting to the CD, still gets up that error symbol. Tried Google and trawling the Apple forums for some assistance, but I cant seem to find any.

really irritating the hell of me! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

:)

I think this requires an Apple Tech.

Best to take it to an Apple Service Center near you.
(Apple Service Centre or AppleCare Service Providers, can be independent, so do shop around.)
