Laptop crashing alot since accidently pulling out phone charger USB cable

hi all,

Since i pulled out my nokia phone charger from the laptop before i shut down, my laptop keeps having trouble starting up so i have to keep booting up in safe mode and running utilites on it. This happens about 1 in 10 times i start my laptop up.

Any ideas how i can stop this happening?

Can you post some detail about your Laptop, what OS you running? Is it a Mac, then did you tried using Disk Utility Repair Permission in safe mode?
