iTunes Alternative

Looking for an alternative to itunes that is for a desk top osx 10.12.6 sierra on a late 2015.Having hard time finding app. that will manage music, audiobooks and is user friendly........
(seems most apps are for iphone) current itunes is corrupted some where, reinstalling, disk warrior and first aid do nothing and am tired of being head wrecked over the issue, this not the first time all suggestions welcomed thanx

Hello,

I honestly do know if there is anything similar to iTunes. There are a few music apps, but none that have all the media types included in iTunes in a single app. Plex may be the closest you will find.

I've been keeping track of issues on my Mac. If it weren't for iTunes, the list would be small. But with iTunes problems are more than daily for the last year.
