iSkysoft Video Converter - No Sound

Hi, I recently purchased the iSkysoft DVD ripper and converter pack for mac. Somehow I cannot generate an avi file that actually has sound. Both programs generates the avi file successfully but both files are without sound.

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong in my settings. Please help: These are the settings i use for conversion (I left the values that defaulted in):

Format: AVI - Audio-Video Interleaved(Xvid) (*.avi)
Video
Resolution: 640*480
Frame Rate: 29.97 fps
Bit Rate: 1500 kbps
Encoder: Xvid
Audio
Sample Rate: 44100 Hz
Channel: 2 Channels
Bit Rate: 128 kbps
Encoder: MP3


I have an iMac with Mac OS X version 10.5.4, processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory 1GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

When I installed the program, I chose the Intel version and not the powerPC version.

Please help with suggestions

I have the same problem-- I just bought the iSkysoft Video Converter and have been trying to convert .flv's into .avi. Fiddling with the settings did nothing, nor did trying the different .avi formats.

One small success: if I chose .mov as the output, the sound was fine.

As above, any help would be appreciated!
