iPhone 11 not appearing in iTunes after updating to ios 13.4

After updating to ios 13.4, my iPhone 11 doesn't show up in iTunes when I connect it. I've checked USB cables etc and all okay. My iPad running ios 13.3.1 shows up without any problems. (The iphone also shows up in the Photos app when I connect it.)

I'm running iTunes 12.8.2.3 in MacOS 10.13.6



I'd be grateful for any tips!

Hello.

I have seen this happen before, and it can be a pain to troubleshoot.

A few things:
-Make sure you use an original Apple USB cable
-Try another USB port
-Perform an SMC and NVRAM reset on the Mac
