Hello:

New here. Does anyone here have any experienced installing Windows 7 on their Mac? The process gets hung up when I'm asked to select where I want to install Windows. None of the listed drives are available because they need an NTFS format. How does one accomplish that? Been searching the net for some direction. Thanks.

To install Windows 7 you'll need either Bootcamp/Parallels/VMWare Fusion.

Are you using either of the above & what version Mac OS X are you running?

We can further help you once you supply this info

You'll need to partition your internal drive using Disc Utility then install Windows 7 using Bootcamp or Parallels.

Hey Spawn:

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Much obliged. I've got OS X 10.9.3; 32 bit. Is it possible to partition the internal drive in the NTFS format? I didn't see where that could be done using disk utility. Thanks.
