inDesign wont start

I bought my new MacBookPro with Mac OS 10.5.4 and installed CS3.
After that when I try to start InDesign it says: serious error occured ...
... InDesign is shutting down ... I tried to install other copy of CS3 -
- nothing helps!!??
CS1 is working OK!

Hi!

The most usual cause of this behaviour is font issues on both Mac and Windows. You should open the Fonts book in /Applications and go through it, looking for duplicate fonts and similar.
