The system won´t boot at all. And you can´t boot it from the Panther CD´s or any other 10.3.x CD or system on a FW-Drive. You need the original iBook CD´s sold with this book (not the ones from a previous version) or a single-version Tiger. On this book, IMHO, Panther will never run.
