i tunes and downloads

I have OS 10.7.5. I tunes 11.4. I have some spoken word CD's which I would like to import.

I inserted the disc. i tunes had broken the spoken audio into little pieces ( to represent sound tracks ,I guess )
It appeared that it was dowloading onto my Mac Book Pro i tunes. The little tracks had a little green dot, I believe, when supposedly downloaded, however, when I ejected the CD ( which was more difficult than before) I could not find the 17 tracks which were supposedly in my i tunes. I would like it to go into audiobooks section. Is there any way to customize the dowloading of this CD.. It is in a set of 6. I inserted a second CD and this second one would not download at all.

Hello and welcome.

It can be a bit tricky to import audiobooks correctly into iTunes. The tracks you imported from the first disc are probably showing in the Music section, instead of the Audiobooks section, because they weren't tagged as Audiobooks.
