I have an I-cloud problem. More of a nuisance than a major problem.
At the start of every session on my mac and sporadically throughout a session, I get an error message that reads: “This iMac cannot connect to iCloud because of a problem with “(e-mail address removed)”. Open iCloud preferences to fix this problem”
Now the reason for this error message is a little complicated. Bear with me. When I bought this iMac (14 months back?) I was also in the process of changing my ISP. The old ISP was rogers.com. The new ISP is bell.net. Somehow or another when this iMac was set up, iCloud never got the message that I had left rogers and moved to bell.
So this error message keeps popping up. But when I go to iCloud preferences, as the message suggests to fix the problem, I can’t fix it. I am prompted to provide the password for “(e-mail address removed)”. That account no longer exists. I tried what I think was the password back then, but no luck.
Is there someway I can get into iCloud preferences and give them my correct ID and password?
