How to set up MacBookPro wireless connection to Samsung 3D TV

I have a Mac formatted portable external HD with my movie downloads. Can I connect it to laptop via USB and then set up a wireless connection to 210 Samsung 3d TV model so they can be screened on the tele? :):)
