How to mirror on a 4TB drive??!?

Hello.

Hope someone can help.

I bought a 4TB G-drive yesterday (which contains 2x2TB drives) but when it mounts it mounts as a single 4TB drive.

So I am having real trouble getting it to mirror RAID 1 style via disk utility - even if I separate it into 2 partitions?

Any thoughts?

Yes, because the enclosure software is stopping the RAID and it's probably some strange inhouse software, that bridges the 2 drives into one logical drive.

To RAID a drive to need an enclosure that will allow this.
