Hello all,

I am posting for the first time. Can anyone help me with ejecting a printer series. I have
HP4200 and HP2600. I have selected the first series because that is what I wan to use but the icon for the HP2600 in the dock says it is offline and won't go away.
There is also message saying the disk was not ejected properly. There is no eject button
and I have not had to eject before.

System Preferences > Print & Scan > Select the Printer from the list, Click - (minus)

Do you have an external hard drive attached to your mac? If so you need to eject it before unplugging it. Just drag the drive's icon from your desktop onto the Trash or select the icon and press ⌘ E

.... if you don't have an ext HD then ignore the above advice ;)
