I have an iPhone 15, and it's really frustrating that burst photos are taken whenever I use the timer. How can I turn this off? I've tried disabling the volume up button for burst mode, but it didn't work. I also tried turning the flash on and off, but that didn't help either. It's quite annoying. Any advice?

iPhone's Camera app defaults to taking burst photos when using the timer, and there's no built-in option to disable this feature. However, a workaround is to use the Live Photo mode, which captures a short video clip, allowing you to select the best frame later. You can enable Live Photos by tapping the circular icon in the Camera app, then set the timer and take your photo. This won't result in a burst of multiple photos but will still give you a bit of flexibility in choosing the best shot.
