Cool! It's not a bad idea to download and run Malwarebytes every "so often". Unless you experience a lot of nefarious activity, no need to have it remain on your machine. When you want to use it, just download the latest version, in stall it, run it, and then get rid of it. That is what I do.
To completely get rid of it, I take 2 steps:
1. I have the excellent freeware application AppCleaner:
That removes about 95% of the files, folders, etc. connected with Malwarebytes.
2. For the remaining 5% or so, I prefer to use EasyFind over Spotlight:

After starting it up, I just put in part of the app's name to find some more files. folders, etc. For Malwarebytes, I just use "Malware" is the search term. You can easily tell which are the newest files, folders, etc, that can be removed.
