I have a large Dropbox database on a Drobo drive directly attached to my MacBook Pro.
I have the Dropbox app set to startup when the MacBook Pro is turned on, however, because the Drobo takes a minute or two to be visible on the desktop, the Dropbox app constantly opens beforehand and claims no database available. Even when the Drobo does appear, the Dropbox app still claims no database is available. So I have to shut down the dropbox app wait for the Drobo to come online and then reopen the Dropbox app.
I'm assuming there is a way in Automator to delay the Dropbox app from starting by a couple of minutes? Is this true? As someone who has no idea how to use Automator, how do I go about it?
Thanks in advance for any responses
Conrad
