Hive and iMac conflict

Hi, I have an iMac and every time I log onto the home Wi-Fi / Ethernet connection my British Gas hive goes offline.
Does anyone have a solution? B Gas can’t help apple say it’s BG and BT can’t find anything wrong with the broadband.

It may be an IP address conflict on your network. Are you using DHCP or static IP addresses for the iMac and the Hive?
