Hiding "sent" emails

Is there a way to hide or password protect emails you've sent.
I have to send emails that are quite personal to someone I work for and I don't want to risk that others read it.
Is there a way to protect them whilst in the sent box

First off I would log out of your user account whenever you leave your work station. I would advise a strong password that doesn't contain any personal info like dates etc to make the password harder to breach.

What version of Mac OS X are you using? What email client are you using?

And just a password on your computer will not be enough?
