Hi
I need some help. I am completely new to MAC. I have two Power MAC G4, one assembled in Ireland = Z and one from Singapore = Y but inside , the components are differents, picture attached.
I have two Hard Drive,HDD-A = OS X 10.3.1 (7C107) and the other one HDD-B = OS Z1 -9.2.2.
Both hard drive HDD- A / B boots in computer Y but only hard drive HDD-B actually boots in computer Z.
I have uploaded the pictures of the info, would be grateful if someone could explain to me how can I make both computers boots with HDD-A which is the one I really need. HDD-A has a software on it that control a CNC machine.

Hello and welcome.

From your photos, it looks like one is a Power Mac G4 (Mirrored Drive Doors 2003) with serial number CK3481Q5QEC, and the other is an older Power Mac G4 (AGP Graphics).

-What is the serial number of the G4 without the fan in the door?

It looks like the issue is that the older Power Mac G4 (AGP Graphics) will not startup with the OS X 10.3.1 hard drive, because it only has 64 MB of actual RAM. OS X doesn't use Virtual Memory the same way that OS 9 did, and OS X 10.3.x requires 128 MB of hardware RAM.

Hope that helps,

C
