I have a macbook pro, an ipad and an iphone. I have no problems at all with the iphone and ipad and until very recently have had no problems with the mail on the macbook. Now every time I open the mail application I have problems with my btinternet account. I have deleted it and then set it up again several times. It works for a few minutes then it goes down and I get this message:
There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “btinternet.com” or try again.
The server returned the error: The connection to the server “imap.mail.yahoo.com” on port 993 timed out.
It then defaults to icloud and uses that account.
Any help or ideas?
