Hi Guys and Gals,
I have been removing my videos and photos from my Canon HD CMOS camcorder via connecting the USB and going directly into the device once it is recognized under my "Device" in Finder. I would copy and paste from there.
However, recently, the computer (MacBook) does not recognize the camera and nothing happens - although the camcorder reads PC Connect. I have tried new cables and the problem is the same. This seems to have happened out of the blue, as I have not changed anything on my mac or the camera.
I went into More About This Mac and the camera is recognized under the USB tab. It appears I can not see the device on my finder or desktop.
Any suggestions for how to get the computer to re-recognize the camcorder or show my connected device?
My wife is currently freaking out ... any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Snacks
