HELP can't print, print button won't respond

I just started a new job and I'm setting up the computer. We have two printers to connect to over a windows network. I'm on a mac. I downloaded all the latest drivers and updates for both printers and added them and removed them countless times. Every time I try to print, no matter what application, when I click the word print in the dialogue window, nothing happens. The dialogue window does not go away, nothing appears in the print que. It's like the button does nothing. It doesn't matter which printer I choose, the print button is broken. Any solutions? Mac 10.7.3

You'll need to contact your onsite technical support, this is not MacEasy...

I don't have onsite technical support, I was just hoping maybe one of you have run into this problem and know a solution.
