I am looking at options on VPN and various pieces of software. I was attracted to the simplicity of http://www.iprivacytools.com/ord_changeipaddress.php but don't know if this is opening me up for any malware. Can anyone give advice ?

The "best" place to post this is in the Mac Applications section, as that forum gets read quite a lot. There is a Networking forum, but it is not as heavily "used".
