Hello, New Guy. Migrating Back To Mac From Linux.

After being a Apple guy from about 88 to 2012 I wanted a change so I switched to Linux which I really enjoyed for a long time. Been exclusively Linuc Mint for 12 years now but lately I have been a bit tired of being on the outside of the computing mainstream, looking in.
The thing that has really gotten my attention is Apple's new cpus. All of a sudden Macs are fast again and even the base Mini is a good, solid machine.
My 10 year old i7 3770 rig is showing its age.
A thing I worry about is I have about a Tb of data on drives formatted ext3.
Is there an elegant way to transfer to a Mac?

Hi there, and welcome to the forum.

The best thing to do is to get a software app called extFS for Mac (https://www.paragon-software.com/home/extfs-mac). This will let you mount your old EXT2/3/4 drives so that you can read and write to them.
