How to view video using HDMI cable from DVD player to MacBook Pro with HDMI input? Thank you.

Hello and welcome.

No MacBook Pro has an HDMI input...they are HDMI output only. In addition, HDMI contains High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP), which would prevent you from inputting DVD video/audio into a computer to prevent recording/duplication.
