Harddisk free space issue

Hey everyone!

I got an issue with my Macintosh HD in my macbook and I think I can illustrate it best with a screenshot

The space available gives completely different values. Somewhere there is a problem here and I really don't know how to fix this. I've tried repairing the HD but that didn't solve the problem.

I solved the issue myself. The problem was the local storage from Time Machine. Turning TM off and on again solved my issue

OSX reclaims the TM local storage as required.

That local copy of TM also contains the changes to be sent to TM next backup, and, I suspect, the iterations of your document versioning... You really need to ensure you leave the OS the space it needs to do its job!
