Hello and welcome.

I believe the error is "Building boot caches on boot helper partition failed." This was a known issue with Mac OS X 10.8.x Mountain Lion.

-Which model Mac?
-Which version of Mac OS X?
-How is the Seagate drive partitioned/formatted- GUID/Mac OS Extended (Journaled)?
-What do you mean by "It takes all my back up info and downloads it."?
