On the bottom of my macbook, where there are 5 green lights, one is blinking, if it matters it's the one closest to the end of the macbook.

I'd really like to know what this means because I'm starting to get paranoid, my Macbook's hard drive has already died once, resulting in the loss of all my data, and I'd rather that not happen again.

Thanks.

Hi there,

this would normally mean that your battery is flat.

Does the Mac think the battery is charged ?

Please make a backup of your data at once, macbookuser144, as the last thing we want is to lose out data.

I use SuperDuper and an external HD and have a clone made that is bootable, so I am protected that way. There are quite a few other option available and if you don't have a lot of data I'd just use DVDs or Dual-Layer DVDs ....
