Google Stuck in Spanish and "dumpemacs"

I think I picked up a virus or an evil script, because when I try to access google.com, everything on the page is in Spanish with no option to change back to English. (Also, the headings on blogger.com blogs are now in Spanish.) I always use my google bookmark to access the site, but the same thing happens on all three browsers I use: Safari, Firefox, Camino. I can't even get the English google page when I manually type in the location address. (So far, my gmail is OK.)
I ran Disk Utility, which corrected permissions on ./Library/Application Support/Macromedia/Shockwave 10/Shockwave 10 Preferences
and which also found this: Owner and Group corrected on ./usr/libexec/dumpemacs
Permissions corrected on ./usr/libexec/dumpemacs
All was well for about an hour (google was once again in English), then it happened again.
I ran Disk Utility again, which found this:
Permissions differ on ./private/var/log/secure.log, should be -rw-------, they are r-----
Owner and group corrected on ./private/var/log/secure.log
Permissions corrected on ./private/var/log/secure.log
I used ClamXav to scan the Library folder, and it found nothing.
The "dumpemacs" in the one file name makes me think the problem is due to something malicious.
There must be other emac users who have experienced this, but I haven't heard anything.
(I'm using Mac OS 10.4.11.)
Any advice?
Thanks!
