Go back in time to retrieve word document?

After spending hours on an order of service, which included adding music in pdf form, I tried to save the document. A box came up saying I already had a document of that name, did I want to replace it or keep both, I clicked on replace and to my horror, the "good", more complete document has been deleted. How can I go back and get this important document? It is not in my trash basket. Many thanks to anyone who can assist me.

Do you have a VERY recent backup? That would be the only way of getting it back.
