I use photoshop CS5 and have downloaded various fonts. I have quite a few that I would like to delete but I do not know how to located the font file. From what I gather I have to open mac preferences? to locate fonts and then i can delete or edit. I would appreciate a little help on this. i am also experiencing font replacement that just takes over. I can be on an application and this weird font shows up. i have to restart to get rid of it.

Hello and welcome.

To remove fonts completely from your Mac:

1. Open Font Book in the Applications folder
2. Click on the name of a font you want to remove
3. Press the Delete key on the keyboard, then click Remove
4. Empty the Trash to permanently delete the font

Make sure you don't delete any needed System fonts, or your Mac may not work properly.
