Folder view options

This isn't exactly a problem, but it would be useful to have different folders opening in different views, e.g. folders of pictures opening in icon view and folders of documents opening in list view. I've opened 'Show View Options' and clicked on 'always open in x view' which works for that folder -- but the next folder opens in x view too. So is there a way of making this different for each folder? I'm using Leopard on a new imac.

Were you aware of these keyboard shortcuts:

Command + 1 = Icon View
Command + 2 = List View
Command + 3 = Column View

I'm not sure if you can save a particular 'view' with a folder but that doesn't mean it's not possible ... I'll search around for some more info on that so stay tuned ... ;)
