Hello fellows, i just bought a macbook air, and i'm experiencing some problems minutes after unboxed it.
I downloaded and unsuccessfully tried to open a couple of software, keep asking me for passwords, which i suppose is my iCloud account password (1st pic)? Anyways, i tried my apple id password and also the icloud one, but nothing.
Tried to reset the password then and for some reason after filling all the information, and pressing on change password it just refreshes the same window as i have to fill it again without any errors showed( 2nd pic).
Feeling quite frustrated since i was looking after getting a mac for a while now and straight away I'm facing a problem. I'm sure maybe I'm doing something wrong but cannot understand what I'm doing wrong.

Please help a noob ;0

Hello and welcome.

It can be a bit confusing at first, but that's why we are here. It can be tricky when trying to reset your user password using an Apple ID. Here is a document that may help:

OS X: Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password

Just remember - your Mac user password and Apple ID password are different, unless you made them the same. Your Apple ID uses an email address and password. Your Mac user account used just a name and a password. You can find the user name in two places:  > System Preferences... > Users and Groups will show your long username, Macintosh HD > Users > your user folder with the house icon will show your short username. You can use either in a dialog box like your first screenshot.

In your second screenshot, it is prompting your to change your Apple ID password.

Change your Apple ID password

Let us know if you can't get them changed.
